Jurmala itself is subject to the summer city syndrome; or rather it comes to life during the warmer months of the year and is so packed with tourists that it is difficult to find a hotel room or any other place to say during this very busy period; come mid-September each year, it reverts back to a quaint local coastal community, and waits and prepares for the coming years Summer season.

The Baltic DUNE as can be seen from the above really does not have a particular “season” in the sense of the word, as its individual elements and attractions have been woven together as one.
