Baltic DUNE is a unique and innovative project that offers a variety of tremendous new leisure, business and luxury short and long term accommodations, set in a distinctive and exciting environment.
The complete complex covers 17 hectares of prime Baltic beachfront property; its overall design is one that is meant to “blend in” with its pristine natural surroundings.
Eco-architecture, Eco-tourism, Eco-development - these are the guiding principles of the project.
Eco-tourism and eco-development refer to activities and facilities that are sensitive and appropriate to the specific nature and ecology of this particular location, and suggest an approach to building which has a minimum impact on the local habitat. The use of renewable materials, energies and other resources is critical in this approach.
The shape and dynamics of the structure are ideally lent to the 3 main “indoor” ski slopes that provide the top floors of each component. Each is specifically and professionally designed with a particular type or level of experience of this once “winter only” activity in mind.
The flow and synergy between each of the elements of the project as a whole make it very difficult to make effective comparisons with any existing project that would fall into a similar or set type of category. None of the elements incorporated within are compromised in favour of another, far from it, each is designed to flow and charismatically blend with and into its partner elements.
Therefore it serves no purpose in comparing the DUNE with individual 3, 4 or 5 star hotels, business centres, sporting complexes, leisure and retail centres, dedicated shopping centres or indeed luxury living complexes; the DUNE project encompasses all of these and blends them in an atmosphere and style that is second to none.
If the DUNE project is indeed forced to have any type of business comparison then it has to fall under the same umbrella as other such iconic and synonymous symbols such as the Sydney opera house, the London eye or the Eiffel tower to name but a few, all share one thing in common; they are all immediately recognizable not just as a free standing icon, but are immediately associated with the place in which they are located, in so doing, ensuring that particular place greater global visibility and immediate recognition and association with creative ability and unique foresight.
